where to buy astronomy books...

Post by mandaragit »

Hi guys...

First of all, please pardon my very noobish question
I've been reading astronomy books that i borrowed from the library and i found out that i'd like to have personal copies of some of the more interesting books there. As i have only been living in Singapore for 2 months, the only bookstores i know are Popular and that bookstore located somewhere along the way when you are going to suntec mall(?) from the city hall mrt.

here are some of the books im interested in, maybe you know where i can buy them  :

1. Stars and Planets - Ian Ridapth(?)
2. Star Watch - Philip Harrington
3. Turn Left at Orion

Again many thanks in advance and enjoy your day!

Where to get astronomy books

Check out the national library under the astronomy section. Make sure to check the online catalogue as many different books are scattered over different branches. Astronomy is listed under 520 of the dewey decimal system.

The two best places to buy astronomy books is Kinokuniya and Borders. They have very well stocked astronomy sections.

If these places do not have the book you are looking for, then you may have to order it online through Amazon.com or Vpost.com.sg
