Fancy a 7" f/5.6 APO refractor?

Focal length 1000mm,
F-ratio:f/5.6

but sorry.. it's a camera lens. However, with a focal length of 1000mm (with a 2x teleconvertor) isn't it enough to see some really nice objects?

Furthermore, it's a zoom lens, you can switch to wide field anytime :lol:

Mounting problems aside., how viable is using a camera lens like this as a scope?

This is really a wonderful lens for bird photographers.. Sigma perviously had a wonder 120-300mm f/2.8 lens which has a very good reputation. I believe if thislens has similar optics and price for this lens is good,it will have a very good uptake
