hi Sandeep,
The C8 is about 4years old but the optics are clean. The only defect is image shift during focusing which is a standard problem in SCT's. You are welcome to arrange a meeting to view it.
Anyway, i've added a picture of moon taken by this c8.
Thanks.

Hi all, this C8 on sale is actually mine. I am selling it because I am upgrading. It is definitely not made during the Halley era where SCT quality dropped till .....

I welcome interested buyers to take a look first. Then can consider better right?

It is possible to sell the C8 at $950 without tube rings and finderscope. The usual dovetail plate will be supplied instead.

Hi all, just to show that you can create good pictures with this C8 (and Toucam and the rest are freeware), here is saturn taken by this C8 and the moon mosaic is in the general album in the forum.

(with 2x takahashi barlow on a GP mount. Stack of 600 frames, with wavelet processing in IRIS and post processing in Photoshop)

Hi all,

Just to update that the tube rings are no longer available.

The C8 is now only available with the usual dovetail plate and the following options:

1) no finderscope but with finderscope base = $900
2) with finderscope is $950

2" visual back is standard.

Thanks for looking
