Astronomy Club Session Trainer
Job description: To provide coaching sessions in astronomy training for students aged 16 – 18 years old.
Astronomy trainings comprises (non – exhaustive list)
1) Coach students on the principles and setting up telescopes.
2) Facilitate and execute star gazing event at premises.
3) Facilitate online educational sessions for students on the following topics,
a. Introduction to Astronomy
b. Solar System
c. Constellations
d. Eclipses
e. Milky Way
f. The Sun
g. Gas planets and Exo planets
h. Stars
i. Deep space objects
4) To provide advice to the lecturer in charge on the equipment purchase, plan and facilitate star gazing event.
Frequency: Twice a month - By default 2nd and 4th Friday of the month (630pm to 9pm) or otherwise stated.
