Looking at the ISS has never been better!

Post by Airconvent »

With the new solar panels in place, the ISS is now brighter than Jupiter but dimmer than Venus at magnitude -3. In addition, it can also flare up like iridium flares. On our part of the world, we may not have that much chance but hey...you can always check heavens-above.com to see if you're in luck!

And someone took some photos from Earth!

I always depend on heavens-above.com; there are no visible passes for the next 10 days :(

Thanks Gavin...cool...I've never seen it before. So its 8pm, due NNW and around 65 deg above horizon? That should be above the horizon clouds although that area near my place is always cloudy... :)
