Hi all,

The weather (and satellite image) looks promising today, and have decided to stargaze at East Coast Park [glow=red]TONIGHT[/glow] if the good weather persists.

Useful Information:
This site is located between CarPark C4 and CarPark D1 of East Coast Park. Also in between these two carpark locations is an overhead bridge connecting to the opposite inland side of the expressway where Victoria Junior College and Katong Convent School is nearby. There is also a bustop opposite each of the carparks with Bus Service 401. This bus service heading towards the west direction arrives with the following times on Saturday:

Those coming by car can park at either C4 or D1 and just head towards the shoreline, you will be able to see the site. Additionally, the inland direction from the perspective of the site will meet a big canal. Those coming by public transport can also take buses (for example: that arrives at VJC. Also do note that there are two restrooms nearby and several pavillions to seek shelter just in case of sudden bad weather.

PLEASE NOTE THE ABOVE EVENT IS STRICTLY WEATHER DEPENDENT CAN BE CANCELLED LAST MINUTE IF IT RAINS OR SHOWS SIGN OF ABSOLUTE NO CLEARING.

Please call and confirm the event prior to coming.

it was a great time last night. about roughly ten or so turned up considering it was pretty last minute arrangement. There was a slight thin haze present, but nevertheless, it did not stop us from finding Dumbbell and many other DSO objects.

hi boothee, some of us were hoping to meet you there, but it is alright, there's always next time, or we could drop by in your country! have a safe trip home!
