Deneb & Sadr Wide Field

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Deneb & Sadr Wide Field

Post by cataclysm »

Took this last evening. This is my first attempt on wide field photography with camera lense & H-alpha filter. Intermittent clouds limit the exposure to just a few subframes.

Canon 350D (modified)
Canon EF100 Macro USM, stopped down to F3.5
Baader 7nm H-alpha filter
8x240s ISO1600
