There is an emerging upcoming comet that could be promising for visual observers and imagers - Comet LONEOS (C/2007 F1). Right now it is not observable from our location in Singapore, and is currently at 8.7mag (based on September 23rd estimate), but is much brighter than originally expected. It will be about 0.4AU from the Sun on October 28th and is slated to be brightening rapidly after that. It can possibly reach magnitude 4 in mid October. Nevertheless, the conditions for observing is quite hard for us (very close to the sun) until early November where the comet will be in Libra/Scorpius region.

Our family is save as we live near the airport which is away for something happened recently.
For the comet, I've alerted our group and we are going to observe very soon. I will upload the picture if we get one.
