Dumbbell nebula in Aug and Oct

Post by IvanT »

Hi,
The recent sky has often been cloudy or at least a thin layer of clouds, especially the western sky from Jurong area...

Dumbbell nebula taken in Aug and Oct. The Aug one has a total of 30 min exposure with 30 sec frame using Antlia RGB triband filter. The Oct one has a total of 18min exposure with 15 sec frame using same Antlia filter for 80% of frames at high gain and optolong L-pro for the 20% at medium gain. Both stacked in real time with ASI deep live stacking. Some simple postprocessing was done. The Oct one shows the red outskirt of the nebula clealy.

As I am finishing this submission, I hear the thunder....
