Have a safe trip! You can be sure that the skies there will knock your eyes out of their sockets, especially if you get to be out of the camp and into the wilderness. Look out for nice little kangaroos and the occasional scorpions as well. Didn't quite like the tent-like accomodation though...hehe
Australia is going into spring/summer, depends on which state you are going, most states will have clear sky most of the time, as it is a very dry country
guys, i'm back. The sky at rockhamton is wOOo. Very nice at night. Deployment at a high ground for the last night, the sky is super clear with no clouds and with the moon set, the sky is breathe taking. Shooting stars could be seen easily more than i ever seen in my life time. The milky way stretch across the sky and every night the 7 sister wont fail appear to my naked eye. At night was pretty cold thou.
