I prefer the human roles...you know the one that says "Captain, ship has cleared port limits and is free to navigate" or ""Captain...sensor indicate 3 lifeforms aboard!".kayheem wrote:Rich, being such a big fan of Star Trek, why not go for some plastic surgery and go for the audtions?![]()

That's for Capt Kirk of USS Enterprise NCC1701Akayheem wrote:What? Not even a "Beam me up, Scotty"?
My ship is the RSS Enterprise NCC1701R...see my signature?

It runs on Super-Goto Impulse Drive, powered by a nexstar warp core, Mark IX Minolta Activa Torpedoes and able to achieve speeds up to mag 22! My crew consists of humans, Celestrons and Meadans. My Chief Engineer is, in fact, a Lt Commander William Optics. He doesn't need to beam me up because all transporter controls are on my Nexstart controller...heh heh

I'll just shine a torch through (the eyepiece of) my Trusty RSS Maksutov and say "Beam me up, Skywatcher!"
Too bad we don't stay in the States, or I'd have wanted to try for the auditions.

Stargazing ... is an excuse to stay up past bedtime that never fails!

This one is much anticipated! Check out startrek.com for more info.Tachyon wrote:Oh no! Not another 'early' Enterprise movie! I thought the TV series 'Enterprise' was not well received?
It stars Heroes' Sylar as Spock. The original spock Leonard Nimoy has a cameo role too but up to this point, the producers have not included William Shatner much to his irritation...But I think you are right. It will have more mass appeal and less of the style of Gene Roddenberry which is sad because that's what makes the series so endearing...
