Micro-Tainai Star Party in Thailand

Post by anat »

After the field study at Tainai Star Party in Japan, we arranged a micro-Tainai star party. We select a location close to Bangkok, Kangkachan National Park. You can see the atmosphere at

It is very sad that I miss the event because of busy business trips. :(

The next star party will be Phuhin Star Party during 5-10 Dec which is for hardcore people due to the distance and gas price :)

Wow looks like loads of fun and that there's quite a large astro community in Thailand. And that's a really beautiful location for a star-party!
We do it in the dark...
Portaball 12.5"
Takahashi Mewlon 210
William Optics 110ED
...and all night long!

Hi anat, nice location :) let us know if there is another event near bkk in the future. I'm still in europe now (now in brussels, last week in munich), sky here is overcast all day, cannot see any sign of comet :(
