Hi all,

With continuous progression in resolution and quality of our instruments (both for visual and imaging), here is a useful (albeit detailed) resource for close observing of our natural satellite by the Lunar and Planetary Institute. It is also beneficial for those engaging in video-stacked imaging of the moon in high focal lengths, offering topographical features in great detail. I have not seen a better online (and free!) resource as yet. There are a few catalogues on the site, here is one example (LAC series published by the Aeronautical Chart Information Center, United States Air Force).

Enjoy!
