My dog walks on two legs... :)

Anyway, the original Aliens more liked crawled than walked on 2 legs. Somehow they take on the characteristics of the host they incubate in (notice the hair locks which looked like the Predators in AVP2), so they became bipedal. Yet there were many scenes where they moved on 4 legs.

Anyway, this is just Science Fiction.

I don't think AVP is considered a "science" fiction. More like a fantasy fiction, just like LOTR.

Still prefer AVP part 1. There was more build-up in part 1. Part 2 just plunges straight into the action.

Dude we do have something similar on earth: http://hortipm.tamu.edu/pestprofiles/be ... rafly.html

Some of these guys lay their eggs in living hosts. The larvae tunnels through the host and eats him from the inside out. Then they bust through the host, which usually dies, and go forth to claim other victims.
