Half a nebula!

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Half a nebula!

Post by rcj »

Clearing backlog of images lately. This one's from a couple of months back. Never gotten down to processing it till now. However, it is just half the nebula, literally. No chance to take the other half in colour yet. Image comprises of hygrogen alpha component (seen from the Wrinkled Space Fabric thread) and new colour data in R,G,B. Each channel is a resultant stack of 12 exposures of 5 minutes each. TOA image.

But Its great knowing something as grand as this exists out there.
