Skywatcher Dob or GSO Dob?

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Hmm... won't flexure be a problem?

A truss means the members (aluminum poles) are interconnected at joints into triangular units. The poles experience tension or compression forces, but not bending forces, so they don't flex.

These new dobs are not truss design, the poles are going to flex. Been there done that :)

Looks like a very well-built scope! Great to see a well-built and affordable 16" dob that can be broken down

Discovery Telescopes and even the more premium ones will have to run harder for their money. :)
