Where to buy screw to attach Astroslew 1 to surveyor tripod

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Where to buy screw to attach Astroslew 1 to surveyor tripod

Post by Traveler »

Hi, does anyone know where to buy a screw (preferably with a handknob) that attaches an Astroslew 1 mount to a surveyor tripod?

Yong Seng screws at King George Road. The base of Astroslew I should be a 3/8" wide. But I'm not sure what the base of surveyor tripod looks like. They sell some long 3/8" screws with hexagonal head. The guy demands to know exactly what length you need, before he finds for you. I kena before, but thank goodness, i got what i wanted.

I also have 30cm long 3/8" screws (without head) available, if you want.

I got the 3/8" screw that I mention to you and I can pass one to you. Let me know when you want to collect it.

Have a nice day.

Thanks Mr Ng for the info. I'll look for Weixing for the screws. ;)
