ok...I'll bide my time here for when they revert Pluto back to its proper status after appeal from astronomers.
In the meantime, this is the third (or second depending on your position on Plutio) plutoid discovered name Makemake. It sounds like Japanese sushi but in reality is the name of a Polynesian fertility god. This is deviation from the usual practice of naming objects after greek gods and William Shakespear's midsummer's night dream characters.

Erm, makemake was found in 2005, not 2008. They only gave it the polynesian god name this year.

Note its scientific name (2005 FY9).
Stargazing ... is an excuse to stay up past bedtime that never fails!
