Some Photos from Punggai

Post by swat_pup6433 »

hi,
here are some of the photos taken in Punggai over the last weekend. was all taken with a canon 10D mod tru a pentax 75 SDHF. roughly stacked and processed. will work on the processing more when time permits.

click on the links for bigger version but cant upload full size photo there.. no idea why...

ohh uploaded a slightly more Edited version of the M42. still working on it tough. hope it would look slightly better
*re-edited* hope it looks more neutral now..

and a slightly more edited version of the M8 with colour balanced.

horsehead with background colour balanced and curves readjusted. not enough exposures to bring out the details.. a little grainy..

A little M31 i took from punggai with the spare time while waiting for orion to rise... looks a little wierd to me though.. like one side had been blown off.. or rather.. is the right end cropped from the FOV ? or is it just "upside down" from the orientation it is usually seen in photos?

Nice photos as well, how long was the exposure? Is it the same as Remus' 1 hour?

other than the orion which is a combination of 1 min, 3 min and 5 mins subframes, the rest are all stacks of 3min subframes at ASA 800. hmm howcome the photos can be seen sometimes and it says forbidden some other times...

Hi,
hmm howcome the photos can be seen sometimes and it says forbidden some other times...
I do some test and I think you need to set your proxy server setting to see the image.

Have a nice day.
