NEA Youth Project Survey

Post by nukescientist »

Hi everyone, I'm pretty much a passive member here, but I've learnt a lot just by reading all ur posts. Anyway, I know this is kinda off topic, but I'm looking for some feedback from the Astro community, so please help with the survey. You can also reply on this thread.

A quick intro about what it is about:
We are currently working on an environmental project that aims to instill environmental awareness and ownership, as well as spreading the idea of ‘green’ practice among the youths in Singapore. As such, this survey seeks to find out which communication channels appeal to the youth, so as to better utilize the right channel to reach out effectively to them.

Please complete this survey by clicking on the link below. It will take you less than 10 minutes to complete the survey.

Thanks in advance! Your inputs are very much valued and appreciated.

Well, Earth Hour is a good start. May look into doing something with that.

Lol, I'd sign one for all lights off one NIGHT. That would be a total stargazing night, with absolutely no light pollution! :D

haha dont think it'll be possible though.. they'll have all kinds of good reason to keep ur sky all lighted up.. say.. old guys would roll down the stairs without lights. cars might just all end up under some trees or in the drain. and dont think they wanna shut off the lights in changi airport and tuas.

Indeed it's hardly possible, unless they stop traffic and all shops for a certain area like Sengkang then the whole area undegoes a "blackout" and is perfect for astronomy, lol. Well, anything is possible, but the difficulty in implementing such large-scale projects is pretty high.
