New Cheap H alpha solar scopes!

Post by Meng Lee »

This Lunt system is cheaper and smaller than PST and the bandpass is similar:

But it seems like Lunt and Daystar (Soloredi scope) both uses Stellervue 50,60mm finderscopes for modification into H alpha scopes!

Have they started shipping yet? I need user testimonials before putting money in...

The focal length is about 200mm. You will need about 40-50x to have a good view of the sun and its prominences.
