At last found SMC with the 25x100 bino under S'pore sky:lol: , a small blur patch, 15 deg lower and to the right of Achernar. However. still can't find LMC.

Hi,
I try to observe SMC in Singapore before... I know it should be in the field of view, but just can't see it.
Anyway, the 47 Tucanae (the second largest and second brightest globular cluster in the skies), which is just beside the SMC, is very nice...
You should be able to see it too as it's big (nearly as big as Omega Centauri or the full Moon size), bright (in DSO standard) and very close to SMC (should be in the same field of view as SMC using binocular).
Have a nice day.

Well done, Clifford.
Must be very hard to see from up there!!!!!
Here is about half of the Small Magellanic Cloud imaged on a slightly foggy night:

and a close-up of the same image:

The Globular Cluster 47Tuc is way off the side of these images.
