Moon Mosaic 3rd Nov 2008

Post by Meng Lee »

Hi all,

I also took a Moon mosaic on 3rd Nov and it took 1 day to process it. Then I realised that because of the bad planning, there are small gaps in the photo!

So it serves to remind that you must plan before taking the mosaic, hehe.

The full size is 1589 x 2778 and was 75% of the original size actually.

Heh.. it looks like the silhouette of a space craft!

Despite of the missing parts, the image is still very impressive, as if you can zoom right in and see the USA flag.... :)

Thanks all,

Frankly today the transparency and seeing is better than 3rd Nov. But I got no more energy of capturing 16GB of video and tweak every single layer's curve in Photoshop.

Hope this inspires others to capture greater Moon pictures. Perservere!

Meng Lee.
