Hello everyone,
I'm new with astrophoto just bought orion starblaster 114mm and have fujifilm finepix s602 but cannot take the lens part, so trying to do afocal photos. My question is which eyepiece do i need i have 17mm but its too narrow to take pictures do i need wide view eyepieces like 32mm or above?

I don't recall focal length of eyepieces to be a problem. However, FOV matters and Plossls tend to be more challenging.
If you have narrow FOV, try getting an adapter like the SteadyPix Universal Camera Mount: Here
(Note that telescope.com has frequent intermittent downtime. If the link does not work, try again later).

Hi,
What do you intend to shoot?? Base on your setup, I think you should be able to shoot the Moon, Planetary and try some wide field (such as constellation) via piggyback.
Anyway, if the field of view does not cover the whole image in afocal, zoom in... but be careful not to hit the eyepiece if your camera is not those internal zoom type.
Happy shooting and have a nice day.

WX said it best - what focal length will depend on what you intend to shoot. Join WX during one of his AP sessions and bring your gear along.
