Research into the effectiveness of a new stacking software

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Research into the effectiveness of a new stacking software

Post by rcj »

Hi all,

For those of who is in the pursuit of lunar/solar/planetary imaging, u may like consider a new stacking software (European) called aviStack. It is available as a free executable at http://www.avistack.de/index_en.html
It seems to be more effective in stacking and deriving more reference points than Registax. It would be interesting to see how it can compare with Registax then.
