NGC2070-Tarantula Nebula Region

NGC2070-Tarantula Nebula Region

Taken this in Langkawi. Tarantula nebula is part of Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC). Saw this LMC 3 times, twice in Langkawi and once at Kuala Rompin. First time take it using 300mm lens.

whoa...great image. We can't see the LMC in Singapore because its low, so you must have shot this just above the horizon ? [smilie=angel2.gif]

Yes, that area of sky was clear that night. I can clearly see the LMC by naked eye.
