Price-wise sounds reasonable when compared to an online shops in Canada.

Let us know how it performs!

tnt more expensive right? no ems meh?

performance wise, you'll have to say what's your expected use and expectation lor.

for obs, i'll say i'll be good, if you are new, you can always get helps from all the gurus in singastro during obs sessions on collimation, alignment, etc.

for imaging it'll require quite a bit of patience, but can get the job done lah...

I am not sure what you mean by 6/10. Would that be an experienced intermediate? Many beginners are turned off by newts after awhile.

From your own assessment, what are the reasons for getting this particular setup? Pricing? Features? Portability? Maintenance? Objects you are observing?

Have you tried scouting around for a GOTO mount with a 5 or 6" MCT or SCT?

Thanks!

Hi kayheem,

I'm more interested in astrophotography, I had before GoTo autostar with 4.5" starblast, I have no problem with maintenance especially collimation.
I use scopes for more then 15 years most of my scope was reflectors and some refractors , scope with eq mount used just only few months so need some experience with alignments, For potability i think this scope is ok, pricing is reasonable for this kind of scope and especially with this kind of mount and goto setup.
