Eagle nebula:

2.75 hours total. 15 minute subs, darks subtracted.

Omega Centauri Globular cluster:

45 minutes total. 90 second subs, darks subtracted.

Captured with MaxIm DL essentials
Orion Starshoot OS Deep Space colour imager
ED 120 APO Prime focus

Autoguided with PHD on Piggybacked ED80, all on EQ6

Slight curve adjustment in PS elements 6

Nice photo of Omega Centauri which is one of my favourites.Saw nearby
Jewel Box cluster & Bee Hive(praesepe) cluster in cancer few days ago.
Nice photo of Eagle nebula as well.

nice image barry.
omega is one of singastro's favourite, especially viewed on the 18" portaball with binoviewer and 2 pentax XW lenses! ....
BTW, I wonder why they call the jewel box that when it looks more like a christmas tree to me! [smilie=cool.gif]

Jewel box cluster looks like bunch of colourful gems scattered across
can post picture of Jewel box cluster if you have any
Also M44 looks like hive of bees buzzing around
