I just viewed the ISS!
Though there was a thin level of high clouds throughout the sky, I managed to view it through 15x50 IS binos for a few minutes. I tracked it from the SW and then right nearly overhead and thereafter viewed it as it gracefully slid towards the horizon in the northeast.
It definitely has a elongated rectangular shape, and I managed to occasionally make out two lines on either side of the main body. These would be the solar panels.
I think its apparent angular diameter was greater than that of Jupiter. Its brightness was I think between that of Jupiter and Venus which I've been observing in the past week.
It seemed to have flown over somewhere around Marina South or perhaps Batam island. At one stage, the ISS almost "collided" with a passenger jet in my field of view. Luckily they missed.
I mentally waved goodbye to the astronauts and cosmonauts aboard as they boldly went where others had been to before. If they were looking, perhaps they saw Singapore too.
Tks Acc for the notification! Next time I will again try to image it. Previous attempts were not successful: blurred images.

Yep.. saw it from the car park. It moved too fast for me to track it with my 18x bino, even with the Image Stabilizer turned on, I could only make out what looked like the chinese word '于'.
If I was not looking for it, I would have mistaken it for a plane...

Haha, I think I'm pretty lucky. I was working today, and I looked up around 7.37pm. I saw a really bright white dot flew past, behind a thin layer of clouds. I noted the time that I saw it, and came online to check. It confirmed that what I saw was the ISS!
I wasn't even looking out for it, but yeah it's pretty cool.
