New element named 'copernicium' to the periodic table !!!!
Wow got new element add to the periodic table. Its called "copernicium", with the symbol Cp, in honour of the astronomer Nicolaus Copernicus. Wonder how it will affect science study. New science textbook??
Heh Element 112 isn't exactly new
It was discovered 13 years ago, but only just recently accepted and named.

Don't think it will really impact science study too much though (at least at an undergraduate level) it decays in a split second.
Most periodic tables are only up to Element 103.
The same German Institute also found element 107 Bohrium, 108 Hassium, 109 Meitnerium, 110 Darmstadtium and 111 Roentgenium, over the last 30 years.
This will likely only affect physics and chemistry majors in postgraduate courses.
