Jupiter 24 Sep 09

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Jupiter 24 Sep 09

Post by cataclysm »

Seeing was only so so on this night. But the planet was a visual treat with fair bits of activities. All within the span 2 hours, you get to witness Io appearing from the back Jupiter, while Europa was about to transit its parent planet. GRS was there too throught out the whole session.

Imaged with: Takahashi Mewlon 210, DMK21 mono camera, 3x Televue barlow and Astronomik colour filters.
