The Lunar 100

Post by chrisyeo »

Just thought that I should recommend the Lunar 100 article available in this month's Sky and Telescope.

Usually, the moon is ignored or seen as boring because we don't know what to look for. What I like about the article is that it lists features from easiest to observe to the hardest, and it lists features that "tell us something important or interesting about the Moon itself".

I did have a good time locating features and learning about the moon at the same time. Maybe you'd like to give it a try.
