In front of my house will build Hdb lift soon so no more good views. Some places are good but they are too far to carry scopes. Now I have to re think about full astro gears setup. I like refractor but must take in account about the optics dia, too small not good for views. Singapore require large optics.

OIC. I am also in the midst of planning my portable astro setup.
Going to buy the Orion Backpack to put my Meade 8" SCT together with some eyepieces, filters and camera. And also lugging my iOptron mount around. Right now still ok.
Looking to buy the iOptron MiniTower with Timken Bearing Upgrade which increases the overall travelling weight. And most likely going to buy a Baader zoom eyepiece with photographic attachments too.

Hi,zaman
You will need something mobile like the manfrotto 410( or 400 for heavier payload) and perhaps like the 100mm,f/5 (or sct below 6 ins)and a steady tripod for a mobile setup. You know years ago I had thought about using image intensifier but regrettibly they band it in Singapore--if not thats ideal for such a setup.
Anyway whatever you do; do get someone to look into security when you are obing otherwise some criminal might steal your astrogear while you are observing away from home;--my 2 cents.Thanks.
