08 Apr 2004: Observation Session

Post by weixing »

Hi,
Today weather seem quite hazy... :( Anyway, I will be having an observation session tonight (08 Apr 2004) at around 21:00 on the grass patch near Tampines Stadium car park. I will be there as long as it doesn't rain... tomorrow don't need to work, so can wait for the sky to clear... :)

Those interested are welcome to join me. Hmm... which scope to bring... ViewMax 127 or 150 F5 Newtonian

Have a nice day.

Hi,
There was actually no cloud, but it is quite hazy.... The moon was nice... orange in colour:
Image

The haze with the moon light make the sky look like it was cover with a white silk, so it become a chit chat session with lsy_98... :P

Anyway, my main objective was to give my ViewMax 127 some star light and air... it had been in the dry cabinet too long after I got my 6" F5 Newtonian :P

By the way, try to image the Omga Centauri, but the haze really affect the image... will try again tonight using my 150 F5 newtonian if the weather is clear.

Have a nice day.
