East Coast Stargazing Session (19th Dec)

Post by rcj »

Hey people!

It's been a long time since we'd last had a SINGASTRO stargazing session at East Coast Park, and the weather's been looking good lately. Nevertheless though it is still a week away, and I am still out of country, but should be back mid next week to tropical SG, here's a tentative line-up for the session on 19th December Saturday:

Venue: Coastal grass field in between Carpark C4 and D1 (usual location that we used to have)
Date: 19th December 2009 Saturday
Time: 2100HRS and beyond

Those coming by public transport can alight at Eunos MRT Station and take a connecting bus (13) to Marine Terrace precinct. I will try to bring the 5-inch refractor, otherwise need to look into the chest and see where else is there in existence.

Merry Christmas!
Cheers!

Cool Remus
Been quite some time since we had a session in East Coast. if we can call back all those MIA SP and NP gang members would be even better too.
But I wonder if the weather will hold out but at least Singastro has 2 events this month, yours on 19th and Weixing's on 26th in Tiong Bahru, so we have to chances. The skies were clear the past few days so let's hope they hold out for the month. [smilie=angel2.gif]

Hey people, weather don't look promising this evening, guess we have to put off this session to another date.
