Hi,All
This sunspot is one of the best for illustration of the birth of a sunspot. For the 1st day it emerge as a slight brightening in only Cak; then on 2nd day shaddy dots only in Cak; then on 3rd day Ha activities begin with some showing in brightening in various patches and some showing of filaments in surrounding areas;then the real thing-today become a full blown sunspot with dancing bright regions between the two major spots and irregular brightening in the surrounding regions.Size approx 8 to 10 earth across. Also not too far away from the spot is a very long filament and a good triangle shape normal size prominence.
Well spaceweather claim its may give solar flare--if it really does then its really a very good sunspot for educational purpose! It has everything a sunspot has.
On the other hand it should be noted that sunspot 1043 is one with very little showing;now its at the edge of the sun and its nothing but a small black dot.Do take a look. Its educational!! Thanks
New Sunspot 1044?
