New sunspot 1054 and 1055

Post by superiorstream »

Hi,All solar observer
It seems that there is no let go in the sun--2 new sunspots have just evolved.Whats interesting about this spot is that one of the spot is now in the southern side whereas the previous outburst occurred in and around a northern belt.Interesting.Lets see if this mark the starting of the southern belt activities.Spaceweather havent indicate the evolution of this spots.Take a look.Thanks.

Hi,All solar observer
Strange that spaceweather only indicate sunspot 1054--which I photograph as 4 spots with 2 possessing penumbra and the other two smaller---and indicate sunspot 1055 as non existence but only an active region.Actually its a very small dot only with no penumbra in white light.

Hi,All solar observer
Finally that dot near the center of the sun is named sunspot 1055;but obs in the afternoon indicated that it had faded away--no show in Ha,only show as bright region in Cak;nothing in white light. This might be what happen previously to 1044.Really turbulances sun.

Thanks for sharing Solar Warriors superiorstream and THEO.
Lots of enthusiasm and best of all, the Sun is less likely to be affected by clouds unless they are very thick, so you have more opportunities!
