Canopus was high in the night sky, to the South, at ~ Alt 35-36degrees, around 9pm.
I then noticed another star just off to the left of Canopus, around the same Alt. After 21-shots @ 1sec exposure, I stacked them and DDS detected 200+ stars.
But I noticed that the star I focused on seemed to have a twin snuggled right next to it. I've tried to locate it on Stellarium but can't seem to pin it down.
Anyone knows what star it might have been? At work now, but I'll try to post up a pic of the shot and the 2-stars captured later this evening. (It's amateurish though, so forgive me
