Something reentered the atmosphere and burned up. Could be anything though. Old rocket/satellite parts or simply a meteorite.

i concur. it looks more like contrail being lighted up by setting sun. pretty, but not an uncommon sight...

The video show the lighted trail is moving too slow for a falling object.

Wah lao, the trail got 2 distinct smoke trails lah.....
And meteors can turn ah.... (one of the pic shows it changing dir)
