Mount/tripod adapter to make GEM tilted : FOUND ANSWER

Hi all, came across an old thread that describes a mount/tripod adapter that can tilt a GEM so that its like at zero latitude.

Any idea where to get something like that? Thinking of getting an old EM10 but it only gets to 20 degrees i think.

I understand that a full pier can also work - but also hard to find too. have no access to a machinist or metal yard. also dont like the idea of shortening one tripod leg either.

FOUND ANSWER - Thanks to fellow singastronian's pm now i know its call a WEDGE....
