Are they suitable for astronomy ? Hand-holdable ? Any reviews ? Any links to good writeups on Newtonian Reflector Binocular ?
Thanks in advance.
Yukon 30x50 binocular ?
Re: Yukon 30x50 binocular ?
Forget about this bino if you ask me. What a crap. Newtonian reflector bino? What is that? The only so called reflector bino I know is the JMI 6" reverse binoculars.Gary wrote:Saw this 30x50 bino at ebay :

with an exit pupil of 1.67mm, this bino is hardly suitable for astro even if it has the world best optics.

apparently the marketing dept had not idea what they were selling...
it would be a collimation nightmare if it was possible to put 2 tiny newtonians into a bino-sized package. think about the poor contrast and central obstruction!..
