Just saw one in the airport duty free but it was $220, which is way higher than the online price of $80-$100 USD. I don't expect local prices to match US price, but I certainly expect it to be in the $150 range.
The Papilio is not really an astro-binocular with that puny 21mm objective, but it focuses down to 18 inches which is mind-boggling and extremely useful for bug-watching. And it's tiny...
which shops carry the Pentax Papilio?

my wife is very much into macro/bug photography.. so i have a feeling the Papilio will be a big hit. plus, the ZELM in SG is so poor that I can hardly see any constellations; a low-mag binocular would help and the Papilio is so tiny that i can bring it everywhere.
also... i don't remove bugs anymore (my programming/software development days are long behind me). :-)
