Amazing flare in the video! You must have enjoyed reading the May 2011 issue of Astronomy. Lots of wonderful solar images there. :)

Average seeing today from athens.

The best phainomenon today are the big filaments.

Too much gas and unstable areas.

Two no number regions with sunspots right now.

The other two is 11204 and 110203 at the west side.

No big prominences today.

Hi,THEO-007
Nice photo you shoot.Notice the active northern band on the sun,and a 0.5A bandwidth Ha filter show that too;with lots of filaments across the active band. The sun nowadays is NEVER boring. Thanks for sharing.

The CaK images give the situation of the chromospheric network.

All the south pole is clear from magnetic fields.

I can`t understand this.

A new region coming from north east with no sunspots.

No number from NOAA.

The faculae has strong magnetic fields inside it.

And finally the area broken and giving a c-class flare.
