Mersing Astro Expedition 28 July 11 to 31 July 11

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

Mersing Astro Expedition 28 July 11 to 31 July 11

Thou this trip we were greeted with partial clear skies and clouds and rain, the cosmic were kind to us by offering us "windows" and that was enough for us to take some nice data of the skies above us.

I shall start the ball rolling with my medium rare astrophotography works haha

Hi folks, this was from the first night- The Eastern Veil nebula. Really motivated to image this object because I was awestruck when I can see it even from a tiny 60mm refractor during the last trip.

Imaged with FSQ85, Modified Meade DSI III Pro, 1x8min L, 4x8min R, 4x8min G, 5x8min B
