WO focusser
Hi Meng Lee,Meng Lee wrote:probably the best way to overcome image shift in any moving primary scope.
Have you tried the WO focusser with 8 inch SCT. Is the focusser travel adequate?.

Oh, That focuser was orginally used for the 8" SCT. No problems with the travel. In NUS, we use this focuser with C9.25 and 2" diagonal then the travel appears to be reaching its limit.

Mak 127 users can also install the crayford (sounds like claypot, hehe) focuser onto their MCT to to critical focussing on planets. I have the MCT-SCT adapter for that.

hi, sorry no colour pics. Yesterday when I saw the rather good sky was already 8pm, when I was about to go home. So I just rashly setup everything and whack a few pics then go home. So no RGB is taken.
By the way, the JPG pics are stacked in ImagesPlus as our beloved Registax cannot take more than 650 individual pics for stacking. Updated Registax does not even support JPG.
