Back in action: collimation endeavour!

Here is the place to talk about all those equipment(Telescope, Mounts, Eyepieces, etc...) you have. Not sure which scope/eyepiece is best for you? Trash it out here!

Hi all,

How's everybody??? Hope's everyone's doing well, though really think the skies should clear up soon.
My tube rings for the epsilon astrograph have arrived recently, and will attempt to do a thorough collimation before planning to check the alignment through visual observations, followed by photographic tests. Am still amazed with the number of degrees of freedom the OTA have when it comes to collimation!

PS: Have plans to go over to Batu Layar this coming Saturday or Sunday, let me know if anyone is interested. The trip is very inexpensive (possibly SGD$30 or lower) - 2D1N. Will follow up soon with some long-overdued astrophotos to share with everyone here!

oh ya, when and where u going to play with the collimation?
