What is singapore's typcial seeing conditions?

CCD vs Film? Lots of time vs no patience? Alright, this is your place to discuss all the astrophotography what's and what's not. You can discuss about techniques, accessories, cameras, whatever....just make sure you also post some nice photos here too!

What is singapore's typcial seeing conditions?

Post by Jason Wong »

I already know the answer to that is 'crappy', but seriously, I am thinking of getting a CCD cam and I have to have the right combination of camera, scope, and focal reducer. They say that 'a typical night's seeing conditions are 2.5 - 5 arcseconds, but I presume that is for the US, or the places where more than a few stars are visible.

Thanks,
Jason
