Recommendations for 30 - 40mm ep

Post by addy »

Hi

I am considering a 30 - 40mm eyepiece (used or new). My budget is around 200-250SGD.. So that leaves the Pentax, TV's out of my range..

Looking forward for your recommendations for an ep with a good price/performance ratio..

cheers

What scope do you intend to use it with? If it is a long focal ratio scope e.g. SCT, MCT or long refractor, the 1rpd 30mm (80deg FOV) is pretty good value for money at US$99. This is apparently the same eyepiece as the BW Optic.

the televue is a good deal. the meade series 4000 super plossl is also not bad as long as you do not require wide view...lesser vignetting.
