If you can find a relatively unobstructed higher ground near your place (I'm using a MCP near my home), it can be a good place to start observing. Even with some haze, you should be able to see albireo, probably some open cluster in Scorpio and Sagittarius. In my opinion, an accessible location that...

I have a 6se too, just the ota though, love it so far, good balace between weight and aperture. Haze is really a downer these few days, hope it get better before your trip. Also get to know your computerize mount before the trip, plan for external battery. Hope you enjoy the many amazing view to come.
