Hi Debash, OPTCORP does not reflect the sale price on their website. How did you get the sale price? I might be interested in getting it too. =)

But Debash, I surfed OPT website, it is stated as USD$99.95 for the 2" version and USD$79.95 fro the 1.25" version for Ultrablock :(. They will only send to a USA address as well. I know Amazon is selling the 2" Ultrablock for $80 though :D.

I am looking for a 2" edition as I am thinking of using a 2" telescope camera adapter :D. 1.25" already cut down nearly 10% of the usable frame of a 35mm flim (32mm on a 36x24mm film), if you include of the buffer of the 1.25" filter which is another 10% gone.

hehehehe..... I might even want to try A-Focal with Medium format camera since a film size for medium format camera is 56mm x 56mm, or 48mm x 48mm effective size :D ..... The latitiude of a medium format film is higher then of 35mm format (due to size) and I am quite sure I can capture more details with it :D.

No problem with most digital camera when used with 1.25" camera, since the CCD are normally APS-C sized.

sorry for the interruption, but OPT does not ship to Singapore? I get stuff from them now and then.

OPT do, but Orion don't. :( ..... I have to send items to Vpost for things from USA to Singapore which does not accept orders from overseas. I was thinking along the line where Orion ship out the filter directly :D

Yes, for Orion, if you ship to your VPOSTUSA address, which is in California, you will incur additional taxes.

From Amazon, it's actually shipped direct from Orion, so they don;t ship international too ... =(
I guess our best bet is to get it from OPT and email them for the sale price. I emailed them - waiting for reply.
BlurBLock. if they've got the sale price, you wanna order together? Might save on shipping ... sad thing is they don't have the OIII fitler - I was thinking of getting that! =)

I've actually got another shipment from Vpost on the way. So if I get the UHC within the next 2 days I would wanna consolidate. Let me know if you want. =)

Blurblock, you tell them that Orion is offering the filters on sale (which is a fact) and OPT will match Orion's price - this one's simple. They said that USPS airmail insured shipping to Singapore is US$ 21 (!!!!), and they gave 20% discount on that...this lady Rayna Roberts is generally quick to reply and sometimes agrees to lower the price upon bargaining.
